The AT5040 launched by Audio Technica on the 27th October 2012. The AT5040 is one of Audio Technica's premier studio microphone's in the 50 series range.

With it's high quality features it is in a class of it's own in the condenser side address range and design of studio microphones. The AT5040 offers high fidelity performance, depth, and quality of sound.

The AT5040 has a large diaphragm ideal for guitar, strings, wind and acoustic recording. It's vast list of features include.
